All phones come with Called
ID, Call Waiting, Costa Rica Voice Mail (Dial 190). Please
reserve yours before arriving to Costa Rica, units are limited
on HIGH Season, but if required, we will purchase more if those
are for more than 3 weeks. |

Once
the phone is delivered, the first payment should be done (deposit
+ first period) |

Deposits: |

For the phone: starts at
100 US$ and it waives depending on the desired cell phone and
rent period. |
|

For long term contracts, a monthly
deposit according to the usage will be required, it is calculated
on the usage. |
|
 |
The customer must cover any damage/lost
on devices (cell phone unit and/or accessories). If the
case is for the cell phone, the full value should be covered
by the customer; this value will be the same as the market indicator
for an equal or similar device. The deposit will be hold. |
|
 |
According to ICE (the local telecommunications
government entity), there is a limit of 250 US$ on invoicing
per month. Once you reach that limit, your cell phone
will not be able to complete more outgoing international
calls. To increase the level, please contact us
and we will extend the level after a new deposit is made.

All type of deposits are paid
in cash or wire money transfer to one of our
bank accounts (total amounts
must be received. Customers are responsible for any bank
fees, if they apply) |

Cell phones and accessories are
registered with serial number and ESN; your package will be
assigned under your name in our system once your registration
is made and the payment has been completed. |
 |
A valid e-mail is required
to send confirmation of transactions as well as a valid Costa
Rica address in case of Internet failures. |
 |
As you read in our packages, there
is a minimum usage per day. If you do not spend all in
the same day, you can use them during the rest of the contract
time frame. Remember that minimum usage cost is charged
if used or not. Text messages are charged at 0.20 US$
each one. |
 |
For the
800 toll-free service
from USA/Canada, you will be charged 2 US$ extra per month per
800 line and also remember that the Federal Communications
Commission (FCC) requires that payphone owners (public
phones like in mall) be reimbursed for calls using their phones
made to toll-free numbers. The fee rate is 60¢ (sixty cents
of dollar) per call. (This charge is per call, not per-minute,
and is in addition to the normal per-minute rate.) (If
you want the 800 service in other plan (CR-1 or CR-2), please
let us know, the charge is 0.25 US$ per minute and extra fees
apply, please ask for SETUP (2 US$), maintenance, voice mail,
call-blocking (20 US$ per request, no limit of phones), etc.) |

Metropolitan Area:
San José downtown, Alajuela downtown, Heredia downtown and Cartago
downtown. Outside of those cities downtown area, small
charges apply. |

Due to the new Costa Rica infrastructure,
the implementation for the cell phone network only 80% of the
territory has coverage. If you are in the Metropolitan
Area and you have no signal, please go out of the building where
you are and try your call again. Some notes about this

Inside of national institutions
like BANKS, usage of cell phone is restricted and sometimes
is not allowed. If a policeman or security agent ask you
to turn it off, please follow the instructions. |

If you are traveling, please call
your destination and asks if there is service, sometimes you
willhave service in one area and 100 meters from that location,
you may not (this is for the new infrastructure). Do not
worry, just try to move or drive a little bit. Roaming
is available in all areas. |
